Restaurant Supervisor

A Five Star Hotel in Holborn requires an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join their team

**Salary**: £33,000

Hours: 40 per week

Job Requirements
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage and coordinate staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the restaurant.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Assist in menu planning, pricing, and inventory management to control costs.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions, manage cash registers, and ensure accurate billing.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and health regulations.
- Create a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and morale.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff members as needed.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and other relevant metrics for management.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, goals, and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to enhance the dining experience.
- Plan and coordinate special events, promotions, and marketing activities.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and supplies.
