Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, including eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, pastries, and other breakfast items.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure that all food is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain and clean kitchen equipment to a high standard.
  • Supply Management: Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies and inventory.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
  • Training: Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff as required.

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef or similar role.
  • Passion for Food: A strong passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Pressure Management: The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
