Job Title: Residential Support Worker Night Shift Position


At SuperCare Residential, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team on a night shift basis. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and young people in our residential setting.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to young people on a night shift basis, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Work closely with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure their needs are addressed and their transition to adulthood is smooth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for young people, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of the residential setting, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for young people.
  • Administer medication, manage behavior, and provide emotional support to young people as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service is provided to young people.


Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people in an Ofsted environment.
  • Level 3 CYPW or above (or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care).
  • Ability to drive and provide transportation for young people as needed.
  • Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check or be subject to one if appointed.

Working Hours: 2 days on, 2 days off, night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.


Pay: £12.00-£17.50 per hour, with performance bonuses and yearly bonuses.


Experience: 2 years' experience working in a children's residential home and 2 years' experience driving.


Licence/Certification: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or CYP.
