Residential Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker at SuperCare Residential. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Duties:- Direct work with young people, key working and providing day-to-day care and support on a shift work basis.
- Working in partnership with young people, their social worker, and carers to ensure their needs are met.
- Co-ordinating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans for young people preparing to transition to adulthood and greater independence.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the establishment, ensuring health and safety, and making autonomous decisions about individual young people's requests and behavior.
- Administrative work and record-keeping associated with key working responsibilities and the daily running of the home.
- Ensuring young people take responsibility for their own lives, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights, involving them in planning their lives, and supporting them towards greater control and responsibility.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working with children and young people in an Ofsted environment.
- A Level 3 CYPW qualification or above (or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care).
- An Enhanced DBS Check and the update service.
- The ability to drive.
- Smart and agile to handle the daily needs and activities of the young people.
