About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Office Coordinator. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls and welcoming patients on arrival
  • Handling and redirecting electronic mail, including test results and correspondence received from secondary care
  • Booking, cancelling and arranging appointments as required
  • Ordering prescriptions on patient request, both electronically and via the telephone
  • Other administrative tasks such as responding to practice emails and maintaining an accurate filing system

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
