Public Safety Coordinator

We are seeking Public Safety Coordinators to join our team at the Town of Swansea Police Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring public safety through effective communication and response to emergency situations.
Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate emergency responses with police units and other stakeholders
- Provide critical information to responding officers and the public
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and responses
Requirements:
- Age 18 or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain Massachusetts 911 certification and CJIS Next Test certification
- Familiarity with police dispatch software (IMC, Lan)
