Job Summary

We are seeking a Trainee Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in the AMH Neighbourhood Mental Health Services (NMHS) in Redditch/Worcestershire. This is a unique opportunity to work in a pilot site for the Transformation Model, focusing on community-based mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the NMHS team, working alongside other psychologists and mental health professionals. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing face-to-face and virtual interventions as clinically appropriate.
  2. Completing professional training and receiving clinical supervision and line management.
  3. Attending NMHS team meetings and participating in psychology provision professional meetings.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BSc/BA Honours degree in Psychology at 2:1 or above.
  • Completion of a Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, accredited by the BPS.
  • Working towards registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS.
  • Working towards registration with HCPC as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
