About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to patients with a range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychology services and policies

Requirements
  • Eligibility to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with patients with complex mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
