We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to patients with a range of mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health needs
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services within the Trust
- Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
- Experience of working with patients with complex mental health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
