Workforce Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workforce Development Specialist to join our team at Standguide. In this key role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing strategies to improve workforce development and employment outcomes.

You will be responsible for delivering group training sessions, coaching individuals, and building relationships with stakeholders to promote our services. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, clarifying, and managing participant expectations, as well as developing and managing job goals using creative techniques.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver group training sessions to engage and empower participants, aiming to progress them to achieve sustainable employment
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Job Centre Plus and other relevant Partners to promote our services
  • Develop and manage participants' job goals using creative techniques and deep-level questioning
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 2 English and Maths qualification
  • Experience working in a performance-target-driven environment, such as an Employment Advisor or Recruitment Consultant
  • Strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills, and good written communication/record-keeping skills
