Cloud Sales Director

At Cloud People, we are rapidly growing and investing heavily into our sales teams. We are looking for professionals with experience in selling cloud-based services, preferably Microsoft Azure, for a Lead Cloud Account Manager position.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will develop strong customer relationships, connect with key business stakeholders, and prepare sales reports. They will address client queries, identify new business opportunities, and liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience.

  • Generate leads and close new business opportunities within existing clients.
  • Maintain clients through excellent customer care and strong negotiation.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and pipeline.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations.
What You'll Be Selling?

You will be responsible for selling:

  • Public & Hybrid Cloud Services – Essential, ideally Azure.
  • Modern Workplace solutions
  • Cyber Security offerings inc. MSSP services
  • Connectivity solutions (nice to have, not essential)
  • Managed Services
  • Professional Services

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Director or relevant role.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
