Job Title: Teaching and Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to children with SEN. This will involve supporting children with various behavioural and emotional needs, collaborating with parents and external agencies, and contributing to the development of IEPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of children with SEN.
  • Support children with SEMH – social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure a seamless transition for children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in behaviour support.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
  • A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
