Lecturer in Creative Mental Health

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer to teach and mentor students in our Art Psychotherapy program. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the growth of our research activity while delivering high-quality teaching and assessments. This is a permanent part-time position (22.2 hours) with a salary range of £42,632 - £55,295 pro rata.
About the Program
The MIMA School of Arts & Creative Industries offers a unique learning experience, combining art, design, and therapy. Our internationally renowned Gallery provides students with a professional sector-based learning environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance of learning and teaching. You will also engage in scholarly activities, consultancy, and external liaison as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a good honours degree and higher degree in Art Psychotherapy or a related field. Significant practical and research experience are essential, along with excellent theoretical understanding of Art Psychotherapy. You should be able to demonstrate strong academic experience of course leadership, curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance of learning and teaching.
