About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Support Lead to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a key member of our Infrastructure Organisation, you will play a critical role in effectively managing the coordination of external support contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate task dependencies internal and external to ensure outsourced and internal support are delivered to schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Identify trends and single points of failure and make recommendations for potential improvements and optimisations.
  • Provide continued improvement recommendations, highlighting additional cost-effective activities that could be conducted.
  • Hold regular meetings with Service Management to update on current tasking performance and coordinate on future scheduled tasking.
  • Introduce consistent reporting metrics.

Requirements

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of the Royal Navy and its processes.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management.
  • Process creation and Management.

Qualifications

  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • UK full driver's license.

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
