Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Service Support Lead to join our team at our Hawthorn site. As a key member of our Infrastructure Organisation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective coordination of external support contracts.

The Role:

As a Service Support Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating an effective external support services capability. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all task dependencies internal and external to ensure outsourced and internal support are delivered to schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Identifying trends and single points of failure and making recommendations for potential improvements and optimisations.
  • Providing continued improvement recommendations, highlighting additional cost-effective activities that could be conducted.
  • Holding regular meetings with Service Management to update on current tasking performance and coordinate on future scheduled tasking.
  • Introducing consistent reporting metrics.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule, requiring one day of on-site work per week at Hawthorn.

Essential Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of the Royal Navy and its processes.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Resource allocation skills.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management.
  • Process creation and management skills.

Qualifications:

You will need:

  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • UK full driver's license.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
