Payroll Supervisor

Payroll Supervisor Opportunity
We are partnering with a reputable accountancy and financial services business to recruit a Payroll Supervisor to join their team. This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension or permanence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with clients and process payroll data from start to finish
* Reconcile payroll to client data, obtain approval as necessary, and issue payroll reports and payslips
* Prepare payroll journals
* Administer Pension Auto-enrolment, including making declarations to The Pensions Regulator
* Produce and distribute pension scheme returns
* Experience in payroll bureau work
* Ability to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc.
* Good working knowledge of statutory family leave, SSP, salary sacrifice, pensions, etc.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to work longer hours during busy periods to meet payroll deadlines
* Intermediate Excel skills
