We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, reconciling payroll to client data, and supporting team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Reconcile payroll to client data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Support team members in their daily tasks, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations, and BACS files
  • Administer Pension Auto-enrolment and produce pension scheme returns
  • Deal effectively with queries from clients, providing excellent communication skills
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience in payroll
  • Client payroll experience, with a strong understanding of tax, NI, and pensions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data
