We are seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to join our team at Payroll Elite. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, processing their payrolls, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients to gather payroll data and ensure accurate processing
- Reconcile payroll to client data, obtain approval, and issue payroll reports and payslips
- Review team member work and provide feedback for improvement
- Prepare payroll journals and reconcile weekly and monthly PAYEF figures
- Administer Pension Auto-enrolment and produce pension scheme returns
- Deal with client queries and communicate effectively with HMRC and other stakeholders
- Assist with onboarding new clients and provide training as needed
- Proven experience in client payroll or payroll bureau
- Ability to calculate tax, NI, pensions, and other benefits manually
- Good working knowledge of statutory family leave, SSP, salary sacrifice, and pensions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work during busy periods and meet deadlines
- Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
