About This Opportunity

TeamLogic IT, SE Grand Rapids, MI is looking for a skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time role with shift work between 8am-6pm, 35 hours a week.

The successful candidate will be based in Paisley and must be within commuting distance.

The rate for this position is £175 per day.

Job Description
  • Length: Until March 2025
  • IR35: Inside. Paid PAYE
  • Rate: £175 per day
Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer contacts to resolve incidents.
  2. Accurately capture details of incidents and use technical knowledge to categorise and prioritise tickets correctly.
  3. Perform triage of issues and escalate them to ensure timely resolution.
  4. Communicate effectively with the team leader and other teams.
  5. Identify service improvements and implement them.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrable work experience equivalent to SCQF 7 or an HNC level in an IT related subject.
  2. Proven track record in call handling.
  3. Experience of working in a service environment.
  4. Familiarity with online tools for recording and monitoring customer contacts.
  5. Good technical knowledge of Microsoft-based environments.
Estimated salary: £36000 - £46000 per annum.
