Academic SEN Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) teaching assistant to support children with special educational needs in a community-based mainstream primary school.
The ideal candidate will have PECs/Makaton/Team Teach training and experience, as well as the ability to contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
About the Role:- Support children with special educational needs in a community-based mainstream primary school.
- Work closely with the SENCO, other Learning Support Assistants, and outside agencies/therapists.
- Qualified teaching assistant with experience in supporting children with SEN.
- PECs/Makaton/Team Teach training and experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm, term time only.
- Opportunity for progression within the school.
£32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
