About the Role

Frasers Group is seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at the Coventry Building Society Arena. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of exhibitions and large-scale conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Event Management Team to achieve successful event delivery, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  • Enhance event standards and increase incremental sales spend through proactive engagement with clients and vendors.
  • Collaborate with clients to create detailed event plans, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Process event documentation and correspondence efficiently, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Attend pre-event meetings with clients and contractors to finalize event details and ensure smooth execution.
  • Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Represent the department in a professional manner, building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
  • Conduct post-event feedback sessions to gather insights and improve future event delivery.
  • Participate in weekly operational meetings, event planning sessions, and monthly exhibition reviews to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

  • Possess a customer service ethic, with a strong focus on client and customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibit confidence and assertiveness, with a self-motivated approach and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours and cover event days, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in event management within an exhibition environment.
