Job Description

Job Title: Event Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Frasers Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of exhibitions and large-scale conferences at our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination: Work with clients to plan and coordinate events, ensuring that all details are met and exceeded.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Documentation and Administration: Accurately process all documentation and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Health and Safety: Work with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure that all H&S documentation is completed and submitted within set timelines.
  • Financial Management: Ensure that all event documentation is signed off by both client and contractors and submitted to venue teams within agreed venue timeliness.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage client accounts to increase business growth and re-booking of events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with operational departments to ensure clients' expectations and requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous Event Management Experience: Proven experience in event management, preferably within an exhibition environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work outside normal office hours and cover event days, including weekends and public holidays.
