About the Role:

Zenopa Careers invites applications for a skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team in Cambridge. As an OEM in the Chromatography space, we are seeking an engineer to support our clients across the UK with Shimadzu Spectroscopy products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support, conducting installations, and delivering customer training. Experience with UV/FTIR/TO spectrometers is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with ICP-OES/ICP-MS/AA/ED instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain a proficient knowledge of Shimadzu products, emphasizing service schedules for customers.
  • To conduct preventative maintenance visits on an annual basis and respond promptly to breakdowns.
  • To validate instrumentation through IQOQ/PQ testing and report service jobs using SAP.
  • To maintain accurate inventory of spare parts in car stock and ensure prompt delivery to customers.
  • To cover a wide geographic area, including the Midlands and Southwestern England, with occasional travel to other parts of the UK.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on experience, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
