HR Payroll Specialist

Brook Street is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join their team as an HR Payroll Specialist. This dual role combines payroll processing and HR administration in a collaborative work environment at a prestigious Oxford college.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing and RTI submissions
- Handle statutory reports and HMRC returns
- Administer employee lifecycle changes in payroll systems
- Manage pension contributions and auto-enrolment
- HR Administration (1 day/week): Support new starter onboarding processes, assist with recruitment and training administration, maintain HR systems and data, administer employee benefits and reward schemes.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of payroll processing experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Customer-centric with outstanding communication abilities
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure
