Job Title: HR Payroll Specialist

Estimated Salary: £31,459 - £36,616 per annum

Brook Street is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join their team as an HR Payroll Specialist. This dual role combines payroll processing and HR administration in a collaborative work environment at a prestigious Oxford college.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage payroll processing and RTI submissions
    • Handle statutory reports and HMRC returns
    • Administer employee lifecycle changes in payroll systems
    • Manage pension contributions and auto-enrolment
  • HR Administration (1 day/week): Support new starter onboarding processes, assist with recruitment and training administration, maintain HR systems and data, administer employee benefits and reward schemes.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Customer-centric with outstanding communication abilities
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure
