Job Title: HR and Administrative Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced HR and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Chris Lewis Fire & Security and Smart Home. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the business, reporting directly to the Head of HR.
The successful candidate will have strong system skills, attention to detail, and a desire to pursue a career in HR. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing our ATS (PeopleHR) to ensure candidates move through the application process efficiently.
- Fostering ongoing relationships with potential candidates and making Chris Lewis an attractive employer.
Administrative tasks involve supporting the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, conducting background checks, and administering the induction program for new starters. Additionally, the role entails assisting with monthly payroll, collating exceptions prior to submission, and helping with staff surveys to improve employee engagement.
The job also includes booking training courses for staff, maintaining compliance documentation, company vehicle fleet, and asset list. Furthermore, it involves ordering office supplies and ensuring the office is H&S compliant through regular PAT testing and liaison with local tradespeople.
This role offers an attractive salary of £32,000 per annum, annual leave increasing with service, bank holidays, and an auto-enrolment pension with contribution.
