About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in expanding our client's presence across various dynamic markets.

This is a hunter role, requiring a proactive and motivated individual to identify and secure new clients. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and engaging potential clients across targeted sectors, building a robust pipeline of prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Research and identify new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and closing deals.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring client requirements are met with bespoke solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with new clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends and industry developments to spot new opportunities.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Managing Director and team to align sales strategies with growth objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in Business Development or Sales.
  • Experience in bespoke packaging or related industries is desirable.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to offer consultative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of ownership and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
