Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children on their journey to and from school.

This is a part-time position that requires a caring and dedicated individual who can demonstrate traffic awareness and dedication to making roads safer for children and pedestrians. The successful candidate will have basic IT skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hampshire County Council offers a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per year, a pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities. We also offer a flexible working arrangement and a comprehensive induction programme to support your transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of children on their journey to and from school
  • Work for 10 hours per week during term time
