Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Sales Professional to join our team at Freight Personnel. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business and building relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively develop new business through telesales and occasional field sales
  2. Key Account Management to nurture existing client relationships
  3. Generate and calculate freight quotations and tender documents
  4. Draft and send sales correspondence to clients
  5. Follow up calls to ensure sales process is completed
  6. Develop long-lasting relationships with new clients
  7. Manage client quotes and ensure timely completion
Requirements
  1. Freight forwarding or export sales experience (ideal but not essential)
  2. Proven telesales experience
  3. Success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
  4. Negotiation skills with clients and/or suppliers
  5. Key account management experience with proven success
  6. Good administrative and numerical skills
  7. Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Package and Benefits
  1. Salary: £23,000 to £25,000
  2. Plus Commission OTE: £4,000 to £8,000
  3. 22 Days Holiday
