We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Community Rehabilitation Unit based at St. Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, working closely with registered nursing staff and therapists to deliver clinical care and achieve patient goals.

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
  • Preparing patients' drinks, serving meals, and providing assistance as required.
  • Assisting in emergency resuscitation procedures, following appropriate training.
  • Escorting patients to other areas and departments as per Trust escort protocol.
  • Maintaining high standards of care in an environment that promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
