Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procure materials through the Sage system, utilizing Bill of Material, MRP, and purchase order requisitions for bus parts, rejects, re-buys, consumables, chassis components, and customer-supplied materials.

2. Effectively communicate purchase or delivery issues to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruptions to production schedules.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material sourcing, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to support Wrightbus's procurement needs.

5. Analyze and report on procurement metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements to drive business growth.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of materials management principles.

2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

4. Proficiency in Sage or similar procurement systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize system functionality to meet business needs.
