Job Overview

We are seeking a Payments Administrator to join our team at Barclay Meade in Southampton. As a key member of the administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

About the Role

This fixed-term position involves inputting payments provided by the administration teams, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. You will also utilize banking platforms proficiently for payment input and account operations.

Daily Tasks

  • Conduct daily cash management tasks across multiple bank accounts, becoming familiar with banking and payment processes including billing and cash collection.
  • Investigate and clear any reconciliation items within the payments process promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven computer literacy skills; training on internal systems, controls, and procedures will be provided.
  • Ability to write business correspondence and handle routine emails, enquiries, and telephone calls.
  • Understand agreements associated with real estate and private equity, including LPA, debt documentation, sale and purchase agreements, and leases.

Additional Information

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Training and coaching will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
