Facilities Director

Job Summary:
As a key member of the Wayve Technologies Ltd team, the Facilities Director will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes managing contractors and suppliers, overseeing office and workshop improvement projects, and finding and fitting out new office and workshop spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of facilities projects.
- Oversee all aspects of office and workshop improvement projects, including design, construction, and fit-out.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities management, including capital expenditures and operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in facilities management, construction, or a related field.
- Proven project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel occasionally to company facilities in the US and Canada, as well as occasional travel to Europe.
