Assistant Director of Facilities Operations

Job Summary:
Thorn Baker Facilities Maintenance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Professional to cover a temporary Assistant Facilities Manager role.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in facilities management to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial buildings, with a focus on client-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional facilities management services, including CAFM, BMS, and post room operations.
- Manage door access systems, ordering supplies, and handling contractors and building maintenance.
- Ensure seamless communication with stakeholders, including building landlords and security personnel.
- Collaborate with the day cleaner to ensure efficient and effective facilities operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on commercial buildings.
- Strong understanding of CAFM systems and experience with BMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a competitive hourly rate.
