Strategic Planning Director

We are seeking an experienced and Chartered Town Planner to lead our Planning team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consultancy, you will be responsible for driving growth, managing client relations, and overseeing team workloads.
Company Overview:Hunter Dunning Limited is a UK-based consulting firm specialising in land acquisition, development planning, and navigating regulatory frameworks. We work with a broad range of clients, from local councils to private developers, guiding projects from early concept through to planning consent.
Salary:An estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and expand the established Planning team, providing mentorship and guidance to drive growth
- Take charge of client relations, managing current client instructions and developing new business opportunities
- Oversee team workloads, ensuring standards are consistently met and fostering professional development
- Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)
- Experience working at a senior level
- Experience working across a range of project types across residential, non-residential, and renewables
