About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Portfolio Director to join our Property team, reporting directly to the Property Portfolio Strategy & Projects Director. As a senior leader in real estate, you will be responsible for driving innovative strategic property solutions across our vast UK portfolio.

Our organisation is undergoing a transformative journey, and we need your expertise to define our future network and property investment strategy. You will lead the Portfolio Strategy team, working closely with colleagues in the Strategy and Network teams to understand and shape our Network strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing regional strategies that leverage every property in our estate, creating long-term plans and informing shorter-term decisions.
  • Inspiring a high-performing team of 5 to deliver high-quality outputs and develop their skills.
  • Leading business cases for individual property projects, ensuring they align with our organisational objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve Property data and systems to support the development and implementation of our Portfolio Strategy.

This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders in effective decision-making. You should possess a deep understanding of commercial principles and frameworks for successful Planning, Project & Portfolio Management within a fast-paced business environment.

About You

To excel in this position, you must have at least 5 years of relevant experience working at a senior level in a commercially focused environment, ideally in real estate or corporate businesses. Your broad market knowledge and customer understanding will be essential in driving commercial value from our property portfolio.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including car allowance, full family healthcare, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates. You will also receive 18% annual bonus potential and 27.5 days' annual leave, increasing with years served. Additional perks include RMG Share Schemes, discounts on groceries, holidays, and household bills, and supportive sick pay.
