This is a challenging role within the Strategic Planning Team of Sheffield City Council, requiring significant experience in policy team work. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for leading project work and local plan topic areas.

The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills and excellent ICT abilities. Experience in drafting and applying economic development and employment land policies, as well as retail policy, is essential.

  • Drafting and implementing economic development and employment land policies and/or retail policy.
  • Strong data management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent ICT skills with working knowledge of GIS an advantage.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with at least 40% of time spent in the office. The Council has a generous holiday entitlement and flexible working opportunities available.

We offer a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
