Teaching Assistant Role: Supporting Pupils with Special Needs

Location: Salford

Salary: £416 - £475 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs in a specialist school in Salford. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to devise strategies to overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies to overcome barriers to learning
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

  • A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Either completed or working towards a qualification in Psychology
  • Passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning
