A leadership opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join our children's services team. As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams in a residential setting. An NVQ level 3 in Residential childcare or equivalent is essential, along with previous experience in a senior or managerial role.

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of £34,000 - £36,000 per annum, paid weekly, and includes sleep ins. Your duties will include:

  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and communicating changes to the team.
  • Collaborating with the Registered Manager on audit preparations.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels and qualifications meet the needs of the home and its residents.
  • Creating personalized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Implementing a comprehensive induction program for new staff.
  • Monitoring and addressing staff performance and well-being.
