Child Development Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Child Development Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to pupils with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs in Salford.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop individualized support plans for pupils
- Assist pupils with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs in the classroom and during lessons
- Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils to help them overcome barriers to learning
- Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies to improve pupil outcomes
Requirements
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members
- Either have completed or be working towards a qualification in Psychology
- Be passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning and committed to making a positive impact
