Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantRole Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to provide high-quality support to pupils with special educational needs in our primary school's specialist provision setting. The successful applicant will have experience working with children, including those with additional needs, and be able to establish positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and addressing individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support to pupils with special educational needs in the specialist provision setting
  • Implement EHCPs and work closely with teachers to develop personalized plans for each pupil
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and addressing individual needs
  • Support classroom preparation, assist in lesson planning, and manage resources
  • Assist with routines, transitions, behaviour management, and promote inclusion
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, including those with additional needs
  • NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent qualification/experience (not essential)
  • Knowledge of child development, learning processes, and strategies to overcome learning barriers
Salary and Benefits:

£22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
