**Become a Key Player in Our Client's Buying Function**

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Northamptonshire Buying Manager to join our client's expanding procurement team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead category management and sourcing projects, develop an exit strategy for unsuccessful products, and build relationships with key vendors to improve pricing, terms, and quality of service.

**Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reporting into head of procurement level
  • Analyse the market to assess the potential for new products and services
  • Leading category management and sourcing projects
  • Developing an exit strategy for unsuccessful products
  • Building and driving relationships with key vendors
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure maximum profitability

**What You Need to Succeed**

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in a sourcing role
  • Orderly, efficient, and professional with high speed and accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and quickly adapt to change
  • Proven track record of delivering for internal and external customers

**Our Client Offers**

A competitive remuneration package includes:

  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 3 days on site, 2 from home
  • Bonus

  • Carry over of 5 days at LM discretion
