The Northamptonshire Children's Trust is looking for a Support and Protection Services Manager to join its safeguarding and assessment teams. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the welfare of children and young people in Northamptonshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers and supporting them in their roles. You will also be involved in assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about supporting children and young people, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality social care, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

  • To manage a team of social workers and support them in their roles.
  • You will be required to communicate effectively with a diverse range of children, young people, and families, and to build positive relationships with them.
