Bishop Grosseteste University is a vibrant and dynamic Higher Education Institution located in the heart of Lincoln. As a part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed-term Mental Health Support Specialist, you will provide twilight mental health support as a member of our Student Advice team.

Working closely with our full-time Mental Health Adviser, you will offer direct one-to-one support to students, create and deliver individual care plans, conduct risk assessments, liaise with local health services, respond to staff referrals, and develop continuing professional development activities for staff.

To succeed in this role, you should hold a degree or equivalent, including a recognised and current mental health qualification. You should also possess expert knowledge of the mental health needs of young adults and/or students in Higher Education. Additionally, you must be able to satisfy DBS requirements for safeguarding and working with vulnerable adults.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,929 to £35,308 per annum, pro-rata.
