Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide expert care and support to patients with dementia and other mental health conditions. As a Nurse Consultant, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive care plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to nursing and medical staff on matters related to elderly mental health.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines for elderly mental health services.
- Collaborate with local authorities and community organizations to promote interagency working and improve service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognized mental health nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD) and a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
- Proven expertise in working with older adults with mental health needs, including those with dementia.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- An understanding of current legislation and policy frameworks relevant to mental health services.
