We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with older adults and contribute to the expansion of new psychological provision throughout our mental health and dementia pathways.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services, including training, supervision, consultation, reflective practice, and the tailored provision of specialist psychological therapy where necessary. You will also support service development activities, working closely with the Consultant to further expand psychological provision for older people with mental health difficulties and dementia throughout the county.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services to older adults, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Contribute to service development activities, including the design and implementation of new services and programs
  • Work closely with the Consultant to ensure that services meet the needs of older adults and their families
  • Provide training and supervision to other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

About the Role:

This role offers a competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. Requirements:

  • Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) upon completion of doctoral training
  • Experience of working with older adults, including those with cognitive impairment and/or dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
