Senior Mental Health Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at the Psychiatric Clinical Decisions Unit (PCDU) and Health Based Place of Safety (HBPoS). As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing management, fostering effective and therapeutic relationships with service users and professionals, and providing expert clinical advice and support.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess the care needs of service users and develop and implement plans of care.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team on shift.
- Work as part of a team providing a user-focused, accessible, and responsive assessment service that is safe, supportive, and competent for people who experience acute mental health problems.
- Manage supervision to Band 5's and 3's and undertake managerial duties in the absence of the team coordinator.
