We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a service dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children and young people within education settings.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Clinical Supervision: Provide management and clinical supervision to EMHPs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions, and upholding safeguarding procedures.
  2. Service Development: Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health initiatives within schools, aligning with local and national policies.
  3. Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and families, focusing on low to moderate mental health issues, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based practices.
  4. Training and Education: Design and deliver training sessions for school staff, parents, and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and strategies to support students' well-being.
  5. Interagency Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact between schools, health services, and external agencies, providing expert advice on mental health issues and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Service Evaluation: Oversee the collection and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and services, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
