Mental Health Practitioner for Children and Young People

You will be working within the First Coastal Primary Care Network as part of a new place-based mental health workforce integrated and co-located within Primary Care Networks. This role requires you to work autonomously in the context of local and national drivers, providing advanced clinical care and liaison into Primary Care Networks.
- As an accountable and autonomous practitioner, you will provide specialist children and young people's mental health input within the primary care setting.
- You will work with a caseload of children and young people referred to you in a manner that demonstrates an enhanced knowledge base and advanced clinical skills and competencies.
- Establish effective working relationships with children and young people, their families and carers, including education settings, and promote individual rights, recognising and respecting their contributions to care planning.
- Engage positively with the CYP Access Team to support children and young people in accessing the right care at the right time and place.
