We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to fill the role of Mental Health Support Specialist within our Vita Health Group team. About the Role

  • In this role, you will work collaboratively with our expert team to provide tailored support and guidance to clients requiring low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions.
  • As a key member of our Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies service, you will contribute to the delivery of our unique service model, focusing on developing strong therapeutic relationships and effective treatment plans.
  • A typical working week will include four days of clinical practice and one day attending university for face-to-face training and academic assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, client-centred low-intensity CBT interventions as part of our Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain accurate client records and treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and best practice.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess at least three GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths or Statistics.
  • A minimum of one passed A level study or equivalent Level 3 qualifications may also be considered.
  • Candidates must demonstrate ability to perform at academic Level 6 and have evidence of at least one year's working experience in settings with high exposure to people with mental health difficulties.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
