About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team based in Harlow SET CAMHS clinic, working for the SET CAMHS Service.

NELFT is an experienced provider of mental health services for children and young people, already providing these services in four London boroughs. It is also one of England's largest NHS Foundation Trusts.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for general admin duties, including preparation of patient letters, sorting incoming/out-going post, management of emails and incoming queries via telephone and post, photo-copying and filing.

Liaising with members of staff including clinicians and senior managers is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • Good organisational and admin skills
  • Great telephone manner and customer service skills
  • 2 years minimum administrative experience
  • Friendly and flexible thinking
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

About NELFT's SET CAMHS

NELFT's SET CAMHS is for anybody aged between 0-18, living in the Southend, Essex and Thurrock areas and is free at the point of entry. The service is also for young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems.

Induction and Probationary Period

New starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
